  I absolutely adore this place, and the owners!!! In fact, we liked it so much that we booked it for the next time we were in town while we were still there! Everything about our stay was so smooth and hassle-free... they made everything so easy.
  
  It was actually suggested to us by friends that had stayed there before and fell in love with the place. We live in NYC and just wanted a long weekend away. It was our first time in Kingston so naturally we knew nothing about the area. The owners listed a ton of suggestions on their website as far as where to eat, where to shop, outdoor activities, etc. and we liked each one so much we ended up checking off the entire list! There was so much to do and it was all so close! It was barely even a 5 min walk to the center of town and it was such a beautiful walk... I felt like we were in a village under a Christmas tree! Such a charming historical place!
  
  The house itself was absolutely gorgeous! We saw photos of what it looked like when they bought it and they have done such an amazing job! It is extremely tasteful and very cozy. It has its own style, its very eclectic with a mix of new and old so its really suitable for any taste. The first time we stayed there we were out most of the time exploring the town and nature but the second time we stayed in more and brought friends with us. There were 7 of us and we could have had more! The layout of the place is really natural and inviting. It was like we had our own home away from the city! We cooked, the kitchen is great and fully stocked, we sat outside on the porch enjoying the beautiful gardens, listening to the sounds of nature, and my nephew even caught a frog in the adorable little pond! It was like a fairytale staying there with the beautiful gardens/nature and getting out of the city.
  
  They left us a lovely hand-written note that was very personal and sweet. It didn't feel like we were staying in some cold, lifeless house. You could tell that they take such pride in their house and in their relations with their guests. We left them a really great gift upon leaving but I still feel like we couldn't have done enough for what a special, relaxing time we had at The St. James!!!
